Question by Mackenzie Wallace: How do I get rid of the yeast infection without a doctor?
Hi, I’m only 14 years old, and I think I might have the yeast infection in my vagina..I do NOT want to go to the doctor or tell anyone about it. I just want it to go away. Does anyone know how to get rid of it without drugs, creams, or powders or anything?! PLEASE HELP!

Monistat- buy this at the store.

Wear cotton underwear and eat yogurt.

It may be beneficial to see a doctor if you get another yeast infection; they can prescribe an oral tablet that rids the infection.

Can you have a yeast infection without the burning and itchiness?

Question by : Can you have a yeast infection without the burning and itchiness?
I just noticed a couple days ago I had an odor down there and the discharge (white/yellowish). I don’t have the burning and itchiness sensation. I don’t know if a yeast infection because I’ve haven’t experience one before. Any help is appreciated before I call the doctor. I’d call right now and make myself an appointment but closed at the moment. Thank you.

Women can, but in men (judging by your profile, you appear to be a man), yeast infections don’t involve odor or discharge. Instead they only involve itching and what at first appears to be a rash of whitish spots on the glans or inner foreskin, which can turn into a dark reddish discoloration if left untreated.

If you’re getting discharge, I would say this would have to be some kind of urinary tract or bladder issue. You should definitely see a doctor.

Can I Get Rid of Yeast without the Candida Diet?

Question by RedDevyl: Can I Get Rid of Yeast without the Candida Diet?
My doc suspected I had systemic yeast in my stomach whein I went to her complaining of chronich sinus infection & post nasal drip. I tried the diet for this past month and it works. I just don’ want to have to do this forever. The only supplements I’ve been taking are grapefruit seed extract & acidophilus. They’re supposed to get rid of the yeast as well. But are there any other supplements I can take to get rid of the yeast? I’ve heard of Candex & ThreeLac. Does anything else work? Or do I have to stay on the diet for ever?

A different way to take your acidophilus is by having 3 serves of fat free plain yoghurt a day, this works well. Some good results have been obtained from using a good quality colloidal silver. Good Luck.

Q&A: How do I rid my body of candida without using meds?

Question by shortcake: How do I rid my body of candida without using meds?
I am searching on line and in books and finding contradicting information. I have read that garlic (fresh), fresh juiced carrots (not store purchased juic), grape seed extract, olive leaf extract and something called pau d’arco help eliminate and then I have to take probiotics not to mention a “candida diet”- can’t find consistent info on what a good candida diet would even be…. help!

Low carb diets help to “starve out” candida. Simply by keeping your blood sugar low much of the candida will die due to lack of high glucose in the blood stream. That is how low carb helps.

Probiotics such as acidopholus from yogurt also help to crowd out the candida. If healty bacteria like acidopholus is low in your body the yeast can get out of control kind of like how deer populations become too high without natural predators to keep them contained.

Eating fresh lemons also helps to control candida. Drinking (sugar free) lemonade will help. Same with apple cider vinegar.
Pau d” arco is simply a part of a tree bark. It does help to kill yeast, but is expensive. There are cheaper ways to help. The olive oil, grape seed extract, olive leaf all help by reducing carb intake which therefore starves out the yeast.

It all boils down to starving out the yeast or crowding it out with healthy bacteria. Yeast love sugar. If you drink sweet drinks, eat high starches and carbs, you will have more yeast than if you eat lower glycemic choices.

Question by Nubia S: Can I do candida and colon cleanses naturally without buying expensive supplements?

go to a smoothie king or gnc, buy aloe vera water. follow the directions on the bottle. that’s what aloe vera water is for, it cleans you out and it is very cheap. the brand does not matter. once a week go on a fast. drink a ton of water, take one laxative pill and drink a glass of v-8 for breakfast lunch and dinner. it will clean you out good and you will feel less tired, less grumpy less bloated and a little thinner.
