Diaper Rash and Nail Yeast Infection

Candida Yeast Infection can impact both genders from all walks of life, young and old alike. Which parts of the body are Candida symptoms showing? Of course you will say in the genitals. But it can show in any part of the body!

Like I said, it can affect anyone. Candida yeast infection can be such a pain in the neck. There is what we call Diaper Rash Yeast Infection. A yeast infection can affect babies who are not older than two and even adults who wear diapers. And of course, it can take place after taking antibiotics.

Candida thrives in moist areas. That said, one of the symptoms that come with Candida infection in infants wearing diapers is the skin irritation in the area diaper touches the skin. Diaper rashes will appear as bright red splotches. The rash is usually seen on the buttock, genitals and in skin folds.

The infection can also be seen under the finger and toenails. A nail Candida infection usually happens when one is exposed to water for long periods of time or those who have gotten a poorly done manicure.

One of the symptoms of Candida, in the nail bed, is its red appearance and it is almost always swollen. Additionally, in severe cases, the toe or fingernail could separate from the skin and the nail would be white in color or yellow.
