Yeast Infection Remedies For You

If I had a penny for every time a supposed yeast infection remedy pops up online, I’d be rich by now. Why does it have to be so damn difficult? Let’s clarify something.

Yeast infection remedies should help you with your problems for good, and not just temporarily relieve your symptoms. If that’s the only thing that it does, it can’t be considered as an actual cure. There. Pretty simple, right? Many of us thing that we have the answer and well, if the “remedy” doesn’t really remedy the problem, then it’s not the answer.

Let’s move on. Here are some useful, temporary treatments that will give actual relief. Even though they clearly must not be deemed yeast infection remedies for reasons that were discussed previously, they deserve to be mentioned. These are not long-term yeast infection remedies, though. Try:

Yogurt. Look for plain, no sugar, no additives, no coloring, and one that’s not heat-treated. Spread a little amount on the infected area, and let it sit for about an hour. A soothing relief will be felt. The reason why yogurt is considered to be one of the best remedies for yeast infection is because it has good friendly bacteria that helps to fight against your infection.

Tea tree oil is yet another powerful yeast infection remedy. Why? Because it’s a powerful antifungal agent, it kills bacteria, as well as it rejuvenates skin.

See to it that you dilute it. Tea tree oil is very potent. It may not be considered as one of the long-term cures because it is only temporary, but it’s very useful. Given that it’s natural, you need not worry about long term damage to your internal system, mind you. So remember that as you look at your natural yeast infection remedies for long-term relief.

If there is fertile cervical mucus then it should live 3-5 days. I don’t know how the yeast infection may affect it. My conclusion is that it won’t matter.

Last time I had a yeast infection, I got a horrible rash all around the tops of my thighs and around my underwear line. It lasted a few weeks, but after I started using medicated cream it went away in about 5-6 days.

If it’s working, keep using it for at least 3 days. If it comes back, you should buy Monistat 7 instead.

How long after starting an antibiotic does a yeast infection occur?

Question by Paintmyselfgreen: How long after starting an antibiotic does a yeast infection occur?
I just started an antibiotic on Saturday afternoon, and I began experiencing symptoms of a yeast infection on Sunday. I am curious as to if symptoms would appear this quickly?

Best answer:

Answer by Beery

It’s definitely possible. Yeast is always present, but the natural bacteria on the genitals normally keep it controlled. As soon as the antibiotic entered your system it started to kill bacteria and the yeast would have begun to get entrenched and ready to make a serious an assault on your body. If your diet at the time was high in sugars, the yeast would be well fed and able to start growing at a good rate.

A good way to keep yeast at bay during antibiotic use is to cut out all sugars. I don’t know why doctors don’t advise patients of this. Perhaps because they are all about pills and procedures and not thinking about unintended consequences of treatment and how diet can affect their prescriptions.

How long does a yeast infection last? And how do you get it?

Question by Ashleigh: How long does a yeast infection last? And how do you get it?
These past two weeks I’ve had a serious itch in my vaginal area, just realized it’s an yeast infection. I’ve dont some research but none of it gave information about about how long it could last. I’ve never had intercourse before but I have been fingered not sure if i could of gotten it from that. But let me know.

Answer by Emma L
It will last until it is treated. You need an anti-fungal cream, or oral tablet to treat it. Yeast infections will not go away on their own, the yeast will continue to multiply. If this is the first time this has happened, I suggest you see your doctor, as other things can cause this sort of itching, some of which can be serious.

You can get yeast infections in a number of ways, intercourse with an infected partner being only one. If you wear tight fitting underwear (especially if it is not cotton) or tights regularly, using strongly scented soap or shower gel, or from having diabetes (the excess sugar in your urine encourages yeast growth); this is one reason I think you should check with your doctor.

Natural yogurt can help reduce the itch, but please get this checked out!

How long can you have a yeast infection before you notice it?

Question by Tina K: How long can you have a yeast infection before you notice it?
Can you have a yeast infection for a few months, and not even notice?

Best answer:

Answer by Hayley
Yeast infections cause extremely noticeable itching and burning about 1 or 2 days after they begin
so it is highly unlikely that you can go a few months without noticing a yeast infection that you have. You should notice it right away. I hope this helped(:
